HOW TO REACH THE PLACE
From the RAILWAY STATION and Piazzale ROMA
- 1st Solution: VAPORETTO (water bus) Line 1 to S. MARCO – about 30 minutes
- The vaporetto crosses Canal Grande in all of its length.
- Get off at CA' REZZONICO. On foot about 5 minutes.
- On foot – about 5 minutes
- Go straight along Calle del Traghetto till Campo San Barnaba.
- On your left, cross a sort of under passage Casìn dei Nobili.
- Cross the bridge and before ending the last steps of the bridge turn immediately on your right in Fondamenta Lombardo. In the corner on your left you find Fondamenta di Borgo and in front of you Fondamenta de le Romite with a yellow brick building where you can find the entrance of the Institute.
- 2nd Solution: VAPORETTO (water bus) Linea51 – to LIDO – about 15 minutes
- The vaporetto crosses the Canal of the Giudecca in all of its length. Get off at ZATTERE
- ON FOOT about 10 minutes
- Usciti dal pontile dirigersi verso sinistra. Costeggiare il Canal della Giudecca, attraversare il ponte Longo e dopo 100 mt. circa, sulla destra, prendere Calle Trevisan.
- Out of the wharf go on your left. Walk along the Giudecca’s Canal, cross the Longo’s Bridge and after about 100 mt., take on your right Calle Trevisan.
- At the end of the calle you find 2 bridges at 90° angle, that you will cross. Just at the end of the bridge, turn on your right. You are on Fondamenta de le Romite. We are the last building few meters before the end at n° 1323.
- 3rd Solution: VAPORETTO (water bus) Line 2 – to S. ZACCARIA – about 30 minutes
- The vaporetto crosses the Canal of the Giudecca in all of its length. Get off at St. BASILIO.
- ON FOOT - about 10 minutes
- Out of the wharf go on your right. Walk along the Giudecca’s Canal, about 100 mt. later, take on your left Calle Trevisan. At the end of the calle you find 2 bridges at 90° angle, that you will cross. Just at the end of the bridge, turn on your right. You are on Fondamenta de le Romite. We are the last building at n. 1323.
From TRONCHETTO (auto parking)
- 1° Solution: VAPORETTO (water bus) Line 2 – to S. ZACCARIA – about 10 minutes
- get off at SAN BASILIO.
- The vaporetto crosses the Canal of the Giudecca in all of its length. Get off at St. BASILIO.
- ON FOOT - about 10 minutes
- Out of the wharf go on your right. Walk along the Giudecca’s Canal, about 100 mt. later, take on your left Calle Trevisan. At the end of the calle you find 2 bridges at 90° angle, that you will cross. Just at the end of the bridge, turn on your right. You are on Fondamenta de le Romite. We are the last building at n. 1323.
From MARCO POLO’S AIRPORT
- 1° Solution: ALILAGUNA Line – Direction ZATTERE – about 1 hour and half
- ON FOOT – about 10 minutes
- Out of the wharf, turn on your left. Walk along the Giudecca’s Canal, cross the Longo’s Bridge and after about 100 mt., take on your right Calle Trevisan. At the end of the calle you find 2 bridges at 90° angle, that you will cross. At the end of the bridge, turn on your right. You are on Fondamenta de le Romite. We are the last building at n. 1323.
- 2° Solution: AUTOBUS to PIAZZALE ROMA (Actv) – about 20/30 minutes
